On Friday 18 May travelled from Boppard to Frankfurt by the regional express. Stopover in Frankfurt for 1 hour and then boarded the very fast French train which travelled at about 180km/hour and only stopped at 3 stations (Mannheim, Karlsruhe and Baden-Baden ) before arriving in Strassbourg 2 hours later. Very cheap price for the whole trip was 58 euros ($73 Australian).
Grapes and apples grown mainly from Boppard to Frankfurt:

Train from Frankfurt to Strassbourg:

Wheat, lucerne hay, vegetables and forest from Frankfurt to Strassbourg. Saw lots of tiny villages dotted across the countryside.

Staying in a 2 bedroom unit with Simon in the middle of the old town of Strassbourg.
Entrance to unit block through green doorway, under a building and our building is in between 2 buildings with only a view of the back of one building but it is very quiet except for the quarter hourly dong of the church clock.

Street both ways from the unit
