On Wednesday 16 May travelled by train from Cologne to Boppard in second class.

Arrived in Boppard (a village of 16,000) for 2 nights.
Stayed in a suite at a B&B run by a kiwi who has been in Germany for the last 30 years.
Our room was on the top floor on the right.

B&B 500 metres up the hill from the railway station and wonderful views of the Rhine Valley.
